Vocational Rehabilitation Services

The following programs are designed to allow those we serve to gain valuable skills that can potentially aid them in re-entering the work force, or assist them in acquiring skills that can help with independence.

Work Crew – This program enables members working as a team to work within the community through the use of short-term contract and casual labour.  Our crew has experience with and offers general yard maintenance in terms of snow removal and lawn care, refuse hauling, cleaning services, and small moves.

For more information or to book the crew for a job, please contact Andrea Schad at 306-842-7959 or email at [email protected]

Meal Program – This program provides home made meals for consumers/members attending the centre Monday through Thursday.  This program enables consumers to work as a team, learn new skills, and gain experience within the kitchen.

Volunteer Services – We try to be involved within the community, we volunteer with the Weyburn Humane Society by visiting from time to time to play with the animals.  We participate with the Adopt a Planter program with the City of Weyburn.  CMHA Weyburn also works with Salvation Army providing refuse hauling.

We can also offer help with resume writing and job applications if/when needed.

If you have an opportunity where you need volunteers, please contact Tasha at 306-842-7959 or email [email protected].
