Socialization and Recreational Services

Our Community Resource Centre provides structured recreational, socialization and training programs for community members living with mental illness. The activities are designed to promote positive interaction, build self-confidence and provide access to community and centre based components.

These activities include: attending community events, tours, bowling, swimming, arts/crafts, discussion groups, coffee outings, day trips, billiards, skating, gym, movies, nature walks, dining out, garage sales etc.

We also offer programming to aid in learning new skills or building on some the consumers already have. These include Writer’s Group, Art Program, and Sewing Classes.
